Labor Credit Union Celebrates Labor Day with Grand Opening of New St. Barnabas Branch 

Hillcrest Heights, MD, July 24, 2026. Labor Credit Union is proud to celebrate the opening of its new St. Barnabas Branch at 3601 St. Barnabas Road in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, expanding access to affordable financial services for individuals, families, and small businesses throughout Prince George’s County.  

Since 1935, Labor Credit Union has been grounded in a simple belief. When working people come together with a shared purpose, powerful things can happen. The opening of the St. Barnabas Branch continues that mission, bringing convenient, member-focused financial services closer to individuals, families, and small businesses in the surrounding area.

The new branch, which opened in May 2026, will serve existing members and individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Washington, D.C., Prince George’s County, and Montgomery County. Community members who qualify for membership are encouraged to visit the branch and learn more about the benefits of joining Labor Credit Union. 

To celebrate the opening of this branch, Labor Credit Union invites the community to join its Grand Opening celebration on Wednesday, September 2 from 12 PM to 4 PM. Attendees can look forward to: 

  • A ribbon-cutting ceremony 
  • Refreshments 
  • A chance to meet the Labor CU team 
  • Door prizes and giveaways 

The event provides an opportunity for community members, local businesses, and partners to come together, get to know the team, and learn more about the resources available to help them reach their financial goals.
