Date: Wednesday, November 5 | Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Location: Woodridge Elementary School, 5001 Flintridge Dr, Hyattsville, MD

Labor Credit Union is proud to support Woodridge Elementary School’s families, staff, and community. Join us on November 5 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM for Financial Night, a free evening of practical money guidance, on-site services, and real tools to help you build stability for your household.

What’s Happening

  • 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM The Psychology of Spending: A real-world conversation about why we spend the way we do, how money habits form, and simple ways to take back control of your budget.
  • 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM Financial Services and Account Support: Meet one-on-one with our team. We’ll answer questions, offer guidance, and help you open accounts for parents, staff, and students (youth accounts require a parent or legal guardian).

To open an account on-site, please bring a government-issued photo ID for the parent or guardian. For youth accounts, you’ll also need the child’s birth certificate, and the child’s Social Security number. A credit or debit card is required to fund the $5 minimum opening deposit for all savings accounts.

On the Spot Support

Our partner will be on-site offering insurance services and support for parents and school staff. This event is open to all Woodridge Elementary School families and staff. Come learn, ask questions, and leave with something you can use right away.
